The three of us at inc. photo have spent much time discussing what we want to produce. Glorious, beautiful photos is only the beginning. When you buy something to hang on your wall, you buy a finished article. When choosing it you have not only considered the image itself but the way its framed, how it will look on a wall, and perhaps even the particular space in your home where you want to put it. We have been thinking about this too. We want to take great pictures and make desirable objects to put in your home.
You detract from a photo with a badly chosen and ill- fitted frame, but with a well chosen mount and frame can change the way you look at a photo, adding to its artistic qualities. The “art” of a painting isnt just the finished result, but the techniques and thought process used to create the object hanging on the wall. This is the philosophy we intend to approach our work. We will take the time to select mounts and frames, thinking about the particular aspect ratios that work well with the individual images.
